MARQUETTE ALTERS COACHING STAFF

Another team having some turnover on their staff has been Marquette. Earlier this offseason Jean Prioleau left for a similar job at Iowa St and Tom Crean hired Benny Seltzer to replace him. This week MU Loses and Hires an Assistant (Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel) as Dan Panaggio resigned and is expected to be named head coach of the the Los Angeles D-Fenders, the Los Angeles Lakers' NBA Development League team. Replacing Panaggio will be former 10-year National Basketball Association veteran Jerry Sichting, a graduate of Purdue. Sichting averaged 6.9 points and 3.3 assists during his playing career and was a member of the 1985-'86 NBA champion Boston Celtics.
