MARQUETTE RECRUITING NOTES

September 24, 2008

Recapping some recruiting notes linked at the NBE Basketball Report in recent days on the Golden Eagles so Wisconsin residents can take a break from checking the NFL Odds of their beloved Packers reaching the Super Bowl in '09.

Sean Kilpatrick had a big senior year at White Plains (NY) High School, averaging over 25 points per game and was a hit spring target for many programs, even giving a brief verbal commitment to St. John’s last spring as he hoped to be part of the 2008 incoming class. Now that he is at Notre Dame Prep in Fitchburg (MA) and a member of the class of 2009, Kilpatrick Has Named Providence as his Leader, according to ZagsBlog.net as new Providence coach Keno Davis continues to hit the recruiting trail hard in New England and the surrounding area. Cincinnati, who also made a run at him last spring, is involved still with a scholarship offer and Marquette is also showing strong interest (no offer yet) in the 6-foot-5 wing guard.

Some recruiting lists from players at the recent Hoop Group Fall Jam Fest:
